ARA Partners with DHS on Emergency Response
ARA is a member of the Chemical Sector Coordinating Council (CSCC) and in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security provides coordinated, comprehensive information sharing and collaboration in the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or other large-scale emergency while working with federal, state and local agencies to ensure a swift and effective recovery effort.

FMCSA Updates and Toll Facility Information
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has posted updates to the Agency’s website regarding eastern region commercial vehicle relief activities. The links will provide useful information for carriers who are offering their services during this emergency.
The latest information being posted to the FMCSA website include: 1) the Internal Revenue Service’s waiver of the tax penalty on certain diesel fuel in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania; 2) New Jersey’s granting of special permits for oversize/overweight vehicles; and 3) the International Registration Plan waivers by State. Information on toll facility waivers is not posted on the website but is attached for your information.
