Become a Member

Members of the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) include leading cooperative and independent retailers and distributors of crop inputs, production tools and services; suppliers of seed, equipment, fertilizer, pesticide, technology and capital; and affiliated organizations such as universities, government agencies or associations.

Member companies and organizations are dedicated to promoting and advocating the ag retailer before Congress and the Executive Branch. ARA has three types of members – retailer/distributor, manufacturer and associate.

As a trade association, ARA's members are organizations. Employees of member organizations may sign up to receive ARA communications and participate in association events.

Completing the Membership Application

Important things to remember when filling out the membership application:

  • Select the correct application: Retailer, Supplier or Associate.
  • Renewal occurs annually on the anniversary of the date your organization joins.
  • Retailer and industry supplier member dues are based on a scale. Tally your gross domestic sales per year to find the appropriate dues payment for your company.

Independent and cooperative agricultural retailers, distributors and wholesalers offering crop production inputs, crop protection tools, equipment, technology and services to farmers and ranchers.

Industry Supplier

The four types of supplier members include:

  • Crop Protection / Seed Companies
  • Fertilizer Manufacturers / Distributors
  • Equipment Manufacturers
  • Technology & Service Providers

Affiliate Members

Service providers, government and university employees, consultants and other individuals or companies that support ARA’s mission.
