Asmark SVA Program

The Agribusiness Security Working Group, as comprised of the Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA), CropLife America (CLA) and The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) in cooperation with Asmark Institute, has produced a Web-based tool which will assist agribusiness retailers in conducting a security vulnerability assessment on their retail facility and their transportation practices. Chemical Sector Coordinating Council

Chemical Sector Coordinating CouncilThe Chemical SCC is a self-organized, self-governed council of representatives from 15 trade associations representing a high percentage, but not all, of the nation’s Chemical Sector. The Chair and Vice Chair represent individual owners and operators from the trade associations. The ARA Model Fertilizer Contract is meant a serve as a voluntary tool designed to help companies better manage their risks and provide the industry with consistent terms and conditions when dealing with suppliers or customers.

EPA PCC Brochure

EPA published a final rule called the Pesticide Container and Containment (PCC) rule in August 2006 and made minor amendments to the rule in October 2008. The rule seeks to: Minimize human exposure to pesticides while handling containers; Facilitate disposal & recycling of pesticide containers; Protect the environment from pesticide releases at bulk storage sites and from spills and leaks when refilling/dispensing pesticides.
