ARA Co-Signs Letter to EPA Administrator Warning of Additional Restrictions

Nov 23 2021

ARA and other stakeholders co-signed a letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael Regan urging EPA to avoid greater registration or label restrictions at this time which could exacerbate product shortages or lead to potentially catastrophic market disruptions.

If EPA makes unnecessarily restrictive registration changes, it would diminish the ability of growers to control noxious, herbicide-resistant (HR) weeds, leading to significant yield losses and environmental harm, the letter says.
