ARA IS ADVOCATING FOR [PROSPECT BUSINESS NAME].
Become a member. Help guide policy priorities. Make valuable connections.
The loudest voice about policy that affects your business as an ag retailer should be someone who understands it. That’s why Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA) priorities are guided by member businesses — to ensure the issues that matter to [PROSPECT BUSINESS NAME] get the legislative attention they deserve. When our voices join together, people pay attention.
OUR MISSION
ARA unites its members and their interests to advocate and educate on their behalf, provide services to improve their businesses, and preserve their freedom to operate and innovate, ensuring a safe and plentiful food supply for all.
WHY IT MATTERS FOR [PROSPECT BUSINESS NAME]
When you join ARA, you’re investing in bottom-line business value. It starts with direct influence over our national ag policy priorities — which we take directly to D.C. to get in front of key legislators. But that’s not all.
ARA is the only national association dedicated to ag retailers. Membership is like an insurance policy to protect your business from regulatory issues today and in the future.
ARA member companies have the Professional Development Pathway at their fingertips to offer employees educational workshops and networking opportunities to increase their competitive edge.
ARA has partnered with másLabor, the leading provider of H-2 visa services, to offer members exclusive access to LaborLink — expert support for securing reliable workers.
NATIONAL PRIORITIES. REAL RESULTS.
Each year, ARA members determine a new set of public policy issues to steer our efforts in Washington. And it pays off. In 2025, we’ve earned multiple advocacy wins, including:
- ARA priorities were included in the budget reconciliation bill, including preservation of the Section 199A deduction.
- We endorsed Congressman Tracey Mann's Seasonal Agriculture CDL Modernization Act (H.R. 4601).
- We began working with the EPA Office of Pesticides Programs to advocate for pesticides that work for all.
