ARA Filed Comments to IRS on Superfund Chemical Excise Tax

ARA filed comments to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) suggesting four potential improvements be considered for the "proposed regulations relating to the excise taxes imposed on certain chemicals and certain imported substances."
The revision and clarification of "the proposed SCET tax-free sale and claim documentation requirements" would "alleviate the undue SCET compliance burden placed on ARA members and related industries."
