ARA Leads Coalition of 40 Agricultural Organizations in Response to Regenerative Ag Executive Order

Jul 28 2026

ARA led a coalition letter of 40 organizations to President Trump in response to his executive order on regenerative agriculture.

The letter supports the Administration's push to speed up the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) review of new crop protection products, but urges that any expedited timeline apply equally to established products farmers already depend on, not just new alternatives. It also raises concerns about a few provisions of the executive order, including a new cumulative exposure framework and a separate review of pre-harvest desiccation uses, that could add regulatory uncertainty or duplicate protections already provided under existing law.

By leading this effort, ARA continues to advocate for policies that support innovation while protecting members' access to the crop protection tools they rely on today. Read the letter below.
