ARA Sent a Letter to EPA Requesting an Extension to the CWA Comment Period

ARA sent a letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Emergency Management requesting a 60-day extension to the comment period on Clean Water Act (CWA) Hazardous Substance Worse Case Scenario Discharge Planning Regulations.
The additional time will allow ARA and other impacted stakeholders to fully review and assess the impact this proposal will have on facilities and provide more complete comments and recommendations.
Following this letter, EPA extended the comment period until July 26, 2022.
