ARA Co-Signed a Letter in Support of the Crop Insurance for Future Farmers Act

ARA co-signed a letter to Congressional leaders that supports legislation to better aid young, beginning, and veteran farmers by improving the Federal Crop Insurance Program (FCIP).
Recent figures show that "34% of all producers are over 65 years old, while only 8% are younger than 35 – meaning that almost 50% of all farmland is expected to change hands over the next two decades."
The Crop Insurance for Future Farmers Act begins conversation that will help provide stability and certainty for producers. Provisions of the bill should be included in the farm bill for the protection of our farmers.
