ARA Co-Signed Letter of Support for Modernizing Inland Waterways System

ARA co-signed a letter as part of the Agricultural Transportation Working Group to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in support of modernizing the inland waterways system.

As the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is being implemented, ARA and the undersigned organizations urge the prioritization of the construction of the Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program (NESP) and the Upper Mississippi River System (UMRS). Modernizing America's inland waterways system will boost U.S. agricultural competitiveness, create construction jobs and increase efficiency.
