Add ARA's Model Fertilizer Contract with E-Signatures to Your Toolkbox

ARA offers the Model Fertilizer Contract as a tool for the agricultural retail industry to use to better manage company risk while providing ag retailers with consistent terms and conditions when dealing with fertilizer suppliers and farmer customers as they execute contracts.
Partnering with ARA member Faegre Drinker, ARA recently updated this resource for the industry to allow for e-signature capabilities to keep up with the constantly changing business landscape of the agricultural community. Click below to download the non-customizable version available to all.
ARA members have access to the Model Fertilizer Contract with full editing privileges so that they may make any customizations to the contract to meet the needs of their suppliers and customers. Note: if changes are made to the document, please remove the ARA logo from the document and add your own logo before distributing. See instructions below to access the member version of the contract.
Along with the contract, you can access the Fertilizer Trade Rules to facilitate the sale of fertilizer and improve trade practices in the industry. Developed by the ARA Fertilizer Contract Task Force, this tool accompanies the contract by providing industry professionals with a basis for their trading terms with others.
How to access
ARA members may follow the instructions below to view and download both the Model Fertilizer Contract and the Fertilizer Trade Rules from the ARA Member Resource Library:
- Log in here with your email and ARA password. If you do not know your ARA member login information, email info@aradc.org.
- Once logged in, click the green MEMBER HOME button in the top right of the ARA homepage. You will know you're on the ARA Member Dashboard if you see a MEMBER RESOURCES category in the menu items near the top of the page.
- Click MEMBER RESOURCES, scroll to find the Fertilizer Resources section, and click on the green Model Fertilizer Contract & Trade Rules to expand it.
- Download both resources by clicking Learn More within each.
